Lava & Lake is a boutique private retreat under construction above Lake Naivasha, Kenya. This page explains what information we collect when you sign up for our waitlist, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit your email address through the waitlist form on lavaandlake.com, we store your email address and the date and time of your signup. We do not collect your name, location, payment information, or any other personal data.

How we use it

We use your email address for one purpose: to send you updates about the build and to notify you when bookings open at Lava & Lake. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties. We do not use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Email addresses are stored in Google Firebase Firestore, hosted in a Google Cloud data centre. Google's data handling practices are governed by their Firebase privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your email address at any time by writing to us. Under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 and the GDPR (if you are based in the European Economic Area), you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you.
